The empowerment of individuals in the team is extremely essential to team building. For many years, I've been researching successful team building strategies and I've discovered the basic reason so few people fail simply because they have never really bothered to consider time to study how to become successful as a team.

There's one other issue too. Executive teams are usually populated by similarly motivated and driven people. Any team which has too many similarities and never enough differences runs the chance of being unbalanced to the point of being dysfunctional as well as subject to "groupthink", in which a team finds itself with members who agree with everything even if their decisions are wildly wrong. The key is that folks have to consider team building training activities and change as "Positive". That's the key! If they believe that it is good on their behalf, they will have a more accepting attitude. The great thing is that it doesn't must have a large list of criteria to fulfill their goals to be positive. I believe that we now have only a few keys for folks to look forward and enjoy yourself with team building training activities.

So, imagine if we held a Grand Opening party for each and every new Representative. We would coach them regarding how to invite their friends, and the way many to invite to ensure that we get 6-8 attending at their party.
